Legal Process in Ireland

Explained

As a celebrant, I can give you the ceremony you both want, on any given day, at any time, at a venue/location of your choice.

However, at the moment I cannot solemnize your marriage (do the legal part).  In Ireland you are required to contact the HSE a minimum 3 months before your planned ceremony to fulfill the legal requirements i.e. fill in forms, provide identification, birth certificates, pay the fee etc.  Most couples carry out the legal part for their marriage with a HSE Registrar and two witnesses a few days before (or after) their ‘big day.

On their ‘big day’ they experience a full wedding ceremony and celebrations tailored to their needs.
